PROOF THAT GOD EXISTS
Belief in Allah is extremely important in Islam. Sometimes when we are asked to prove the existence of God, we tend to get lost and not quite sure how to answer.
Imam Ja’fer as-Sadiq (a.s.) was the grandson of Imam Ali Ibnul Husein Ibne Abi Talib (peace be upon them all).
One day a man came to him and asked: O son of the Prophet (pbuh)! is there a God?
Imam: Of course there is a God.
Man: But how can I be absolutely sure?
Imam: Make yourself comfortable and relax.
There was a small boy walking by with an egg in his hands. The Imam took the egg from him and hid it in his palms.
Imam (to the man): Tell me something. Is it possible to keep two different colours of liquid in one container without any barrier and yet they don’t get mixed?
Man: Impossible.
The Imam showed him an egg and asked, “What’s this then? Who’s got this power to do this?”
When the egg is hatched, you see a beautiful and a colourful bird coming out of the egg.
Have you seen anyone coming out of the egg or entering the egg to suggest that someone’s been inside the egg to paint the bird?
Man: No.
Imam: That is Allah. You recognise your Creator through His creations and His Might.
One day a man asked hazrat Ali (a.s.): Is there a God?
Hazrat Ali (a.s.): Of course there is.
Man: How do I know?
Hazrat Ali (a.s.) pointed towards the footprints of a camel on the sand and asked, “What do these footprints tell you?”
Man: That a camel has gone past from here.
Imam: But did you see the camel passing by?
Man: No, but the footprints are good enough to indicate the passing of the camel from here.
Imam: So when you see the sun, moon, stars, trees, animals, etc. doesn’t your mind tell you that since all these things are there, there must be someone who has created them all? And that is your Creator, Allah.

Imam Muhammad al-Baquir (a.s.) was the great grandson of hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (a.s.).
One day a man came to him and asked him a very interesting question.
Man: Please tell me if how much power has Allah given to us human beings? Is it that He has given us absolute power, no power at all or limited power?
Imam: Please stand up. (The man stands up). Now keep your one foot in the air. (He does that).
Imam: Now keep your other foot in air.
Man: I cannot do that. I will fall down.
Imam: Allah has given you this much power. You are not given the complete power and you are not made powerless either.
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. Barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of ALLAH, the barber said: "I don't believe that ALLAH exists."
Why do you say that?" asked the customer
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that ALLAH doesn't exist. Tell me, if ALLAH exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If ALLAH existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving ALLAH who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.
Just after he left the barbers shop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair & an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barbershop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! ALLAH, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."
There is no word as beautiful as Allah. no example as beautiful as Rasulallah . no lesson as beautiful as Islam no song as melodious as Adhan . no charity as meanigful as Zakat. no encyclopedia as perfect as Al Quran . no exercise as perfect as Namaz .no diet as perfect as fasting . no journey as perfect as Hajj . lets
